HOPE (Helping Orthodox Parents Educate)
For all children birth thru pre-K
Includes prayers, lesson in Church, songs, crafts and snacks

JOY (Jr. Orthodox Youth)
All children K-6th grade
Meets once a month with lesson, and activity or Greek Dance lessons.

GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America)
7th-12th Grade
Meets once a month, special activities throughout the year. Outreach to the hungry on first Sunday of every other month at Shalom Center in Kenosha, WI.

St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival
Jr. Division 7th-9th grade, Sr. Division 10th-12th grade
Competition from Archdiocese Dept. of Religious Education in Oratory. Metropolis of Chicago also allows entry in Essay, Poetry and Iconography.  Winner of Sr. Division local is eligible for scholarship to Hellenic College, Brookline, MA. Kimissis Racine hosted the Metropolis Oratorical Festival on Bright Saturday.

Ladies Philoptochos / "Friends of the Poor"

Monthly meetings and special events. For all women 18 & older. Outreach to the the needy.
Connected with the Metropolis of Chicago and Archdiocese of America Ladies Philoptochos chapters. For inquiries contact our local Philoptochos President: Sophia Porcaro

Kaffenion Luncheon

Open to all Seniors over 55.
Meets once a month on Thursdays at 11am followed by Luncheon. Minimum donation of $5 per luncheon. Annual after-Christmas party in January special cost.


Kimissis Food Pantry

Our Parish stocks nonperishable food and canned items, along with personal hygiene items for those in need. A ministry of our local Ladies Philoptochos.


Choir
Choir director: Georgia Barr

Open to men and women who would like to assist in the responses for the Divine Liturgy on Sundays and for special services and feasts. First Sunday in October is annual Church Music Sunday in which we honor all our volunteers in our Choir and our Chanters.


Parish Council
Are elected each year to serve our Parish community.  Meet once a month on the third Tuesday 7:00 pm.

Offers for sale: Orthodox books, Orthodox Study Bibles, icons, prayer ropes, incense, cards, CD's and children's books.  Also a limited stock of books and prayer books in Greek. Open on Sundays and during regular Office Hours, Mon.-Fri. 9am-3pm.
